1. Who We Are

 

Sensory Gurus (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a digital-services provider that helps businesses deploy data-driven marketing, automation and e-commerce solutions. We operate www.sensorygurus.com (the “Site”) and associated stores, apps and social-commerce experiences on Meta technologies (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp).

This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information about:

  • Customers who buy our services directly or via Meta commerce features (e.g., Shops, Checkout, Lead Ads);

  • Business contacts who interact with our Meta ads, Facebook Pixel-enabled pages or Conversions API endpoints.

It is designed to satisfy Meta’s Commerce Policies, Business Tools Terms, Merchant Agreement and all relevant privacy laws (GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PDPA, etc.).

Sensitive personal information: We do not intentionally collect or process “sensitive personal information” (GDPR Art. 9 / CPRA §1798.140) such as health, biometrics, or precise geolocation, and we do not employ automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Meta-Specific Disclosures

 

  1. Meta Business Tools (Pixel, Conversions API, SDKs) send hashed event data (e.g., page views, purchases) to Meta. Raw logs are kept for no longer than 24 months.

  2. Lead Ads & Instant Forms data are used solely for the purpose stated on the form and under this Policy.

  3. Meta Shops / Checkout: When you purchase via Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares your contact and shipping details with us only to fulfil your order and honour our Return & Refund Policy.

  4. Joint-controller statement (EU/UK Page Insights): For Facebook Page Insights data, Sensory Gurus and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. jointly determine the means and purposes of processing. Meta is primarily responsible for fulfilling GDPR obligations for Insights data. We will forward any related data-subject requests we receive to Meta.

  5. We comply with all current Meta Commerce Policies, Commercial Terms and Merchant Agreements to remain eligible to sell and advertise.


 

6. Sharing & Disclosure

 

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers—payment processors, hosting, email/SMS platforms, logistics partners, analytics vendors—contractually bound to use data only under our instructions.

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. and other ad networks—subject to your consent where required—to deliver and measure ads.

  • Authorities or legal advisers—when necessary to comply with law, court order, or defend our rights.


 

7. International Transfers

 

Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK we rely on:

  • Adequacy decisions;

  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK Addendum;

  • Other lawful transfer mechanisms.
